What: Erkul Roof Rack Cross Bars [Mazda 3 2009-2013] Purchase Date: Aug 14, 2021 Link: [OMAC USA Link] Price: $105 + Free S/H (From Houston, TX) These bars were super easy to install, and overall am very happy with them. They are a tad generic, but install was smooth and straight forward, despite the lack of any real instructions. Thoughts: Price was too good to pass up. I shopped around for a while and it seemed like all of the big name brand racks were 500-700. When I found this for $100, I was definitely intrigued. Seems to be pretty decent quality. The locking covers are a little flimsy, but everything fit together fine and seems rock solid on the car. Install: The actual rack install was pretty quick and straight forward; however, prior to the install I did have to drill some holes through the rain ditch molding. I searched around for quite a while trying to find some replacement ditch moldings with openings for the mounting points, but was unable to find any OEM replacements. So once I popped them off, I marked some holes and drilled them out with a 5/16 bit which worked perfect. Once the holes were drilled, it was just a matter of dropping on the generic rubber platforms/feet and tightening them down. Cross bars slid in, tightened them in as well, and locked it all up. You can see the rubber foot pad here obviously isn't flush with the gutter, as its a pretty generic part. If I care enough in the near future, I may draw and 3d print a platform that sits flush with the gutter for a more 'OEM' look; but again, this was $100. Pics
@E30Andrew Hey, how has the roof rack held up so far? Im in the same boat not trying to spend 600 and considering this cheaper option
