Many of you have seen and/or been a part of this build over the last 5! years. Yup, five years kiddos. I bought this bone stock in 2012 with 33k miles (and low compression in #3 out of the gate). This isn't a build thread as much as a here's where I am now, and I'll update as I go along from here on out. The chassis is at 145k miles, and the new motor has been modded since 0 miles (79k) in perfect health. Mods: Factory fresh long block @ 79k miles after original lost compression in one cylinder LUK clutch + Fidanza flywheel HTP 3" intake + small battery tray Grimmspeed 3-port EBCS in 3-port BNR S3 v2 CPE-FMIC piping with treadstone TRV1859 IC Synapse Diverter valve Guardian Angel Coolingmist CMGS meth controller with failsafe Pre TB D03/D05 50/50 meth/water injection Corksport IM Speedperformance valve cover breather Damond OCC Autotech internals Derale HD FAN controller CP-E catted downpipe Custom catback w/dual magnaflows Turbine tech front rear diff mount / SURE top rear diff mount Damond RMM / CS inserts on TMM Bilstein B6s with H&R springs Brembo BBK with fedoro pads Full synthetic fluids, AMSOIL signature synthetic every 6k 18x8.5 +48 Rota SVNs (+5mm spacers in front to clear BBK) 235/40R18 HTR ZIII Morimoto projector retrofit fresh lenses and Morimoto LED projectors Couple other odds and ends. I tried to keep the motor pretty plain and let it do its job.
Oh yeah, it's putting down ~340awhp/~360wtq @ 26psi. Rob tuned it initially and I've been dialing it a bit since.
Well whattya know; I, too, run some Sumi HTR ZIII's. But tell us moooore about that IM, CS is still keeping pretty hush-hush about it.
I'm under NDA, but I'm sure CS will share my findings when they get it all worked out. I have to pull it for smog soon so I'm gonna get it cleaned up and powdered I think.
Been following you since the "other" thread. Do you use Amsoil in the drivetrain as well. Sent while doing Time Attack...
An Amsoil man usually runs Amsoil in everything. Not because it's always better, but because stubborn. I know becuz.... I do too...

I know the shop puts synthetic in trans and rear axle when I have the fluids changed every 30k miles. I'm not sure what they used. It's a good shop so I'm sure they use decent stuff.
