That's actually why i butted heads with one the local females here i was telling raider about yesterday. I want to have more active females in my local chapter, but the ones already in the "group", one is crazy and only talks about her cats, and the other wants everything handed to her. Shit, I know we all know at least once mofo who you spoon feed a link to, and they still don't want to read and just want an answer. That was the second chick. It's just annoying that people have a stigma about car chick's and want hotties to flood the scene. Fuck that noise. Gimme a bad ass chick who can fix shit on her own any day over some fluff bunny with big tits and doesn't know shit.
@MS3brohanna and @Faez0rbeamz While I completely agree that this designation should not just be for or about attractive women in the community, I do have a thought along similar lines that no one has voiced yet. Perhaps the women we are thinking of, and would consider for this, women who put effort in to learning and wrenching in the community, do not want to be viewed as "Car Chicks" at all, but simply as another accepted member of the community, gender excluded. Knowledge and effort should be respected regardless of gender, race, age, or whatever else in my eyes. I can see why some of the smart women we respect would prefer not to have a banner announcing the lack of balls, because it should not matter at all. @Micha stays pink doe, OG King Bunny.
A couple of people in here need to try decaf... If a girl wants in and she wrenches, then she's in. Nothing to do with looks.
Am I wrong in saying that basically anyone who wants in and wrenches is in? Whether they be he, she, or a shim? That's how I feel it should be. Now don't get me wrong - rocking good looks is nice, but then again... looks are based around the beholder.
I couldn't agree more. Heck... could keep the assholes around for comic relief. We can all gang up on them and make them feel uncomfortable .
Hi! I'm a female. My name is Kassandra I drive a 2010 mazdaspeed3. I also work on it myself. I don't have big tits so I don't get handouts unfortunately. Currently has coils, CE28 style rims. 18x9. Sickspeed neo Chrome horns 6k fog lights Turbosmart dual port. HKS intake Red tinted tail lights I have started my interior work - painted interior pieces. Custom shift boot I made myself. Custom knob from billetworkz. I have big plans for her! Hoping to get an accessport soon so I can get a freektune on her. Then HPFP and the fun begins!
I'm of the opinion that it shouldn't matter if we are female or not, we all are here because we like cars. I admit I have the bunny tag on msf, but it just showed up one day. It doesn't bother me, but do I think the distinguishment is necessary or valid? Not particularly. If anything it garnishes more speculation. This is a car forum, not a pagent. Those who have exceptional knowledge and have proven it by providing large amount of knowledge and help to the community should certainly earn a gearhead or like title if anything, male or female. Just my 2 cents.
