    Glad they worked for you. They did nothing for me. I blame my custom FMIC setup, haha. Bumper latches seem to be holding well, though.

    Changed out my old and busted transmission fluid for the Motorcraft Unicorn Juice this afternoon. Might be completely placebo, but I swear that at least 2nd and 3rd feel less notchy/smoother to shift in and out of.

    About to do go outside and do some 75k mile maintenance: new set of spark plugs, tire rotation, and oil change. Also threw a CNT catback on the car a couple weeks ago so I got some Cobb hangers to go on today as well. And then a much needed wash if the weather holds out!

    Today I changed my transmission fluid to the Ford Motorcraft stuff, changed the drain and fill plugs to the dimple magnetic ones, changed the purge valve, and installed the jbr reverse lockout gate guide. New transmission fluid and lock out gate makes shifting from first to second much smoother. Purge valve took care of my CEL P0441. Hope it stays away...

    Swapped out my rear brakes with new rotors, Hawk HP+ and hardware in the hopes of evening out the brake bias front to rear. Went to bed them in and the new pads barely scuffed the rotors. Did Mazda design the car with 70/30 or worse brake bias?

    Not sure about the specific bias, but the fronts definitely do the lion's share of the work. You can usually have the fronts serviced and/or redone 2 or even 3 times before the rears need attention.

    I don't doubt it. Besides the change to a more aggressive pad I swapped the rotors because they looked like they have a constant layer of rust on 1/3 of the surface. I'll have to do some research and see if the brake bias valve is built into the ABS servo or a stand one unit.

    I'm interested in this as well, I'm getting ready for new front pads, they only have about 6000 on them

    Does this shit look familiar? From my 06 fusion,.

    At least anchor had sense enough to add inserts if they aren't going to go with solid bushings. Didn't want to pay $125+ for a mount with poly bushings.

    My previous commute was like 60-65 miles per day. And this car has a number of road trips under its belt.

    Dang! Lotsa commuting, huh?
    [doublepost=1466096069][/doublepost]
    Yep, that'll do it. For a while, I was commuting from Arlington to Richardson 5x/week for work. That definitely racked up the miles. I got the Speed with 23k in 2012. Glad we use the wife's car more for stuff now. Helps even things out.

    Lol yea many road trips when first bought. Drove over 60k~ miles the first 2 years. Now I drive less than 12-14k/year.
    I did commute to UTA last year so that added many miles too. @Redline

    My 2011 just broke 60k. Time to find someone to clean the valves and get my OCC in there.

    I'm not very mechanically inclined and I managed to do both of the above-mentioned. Unless you just lack the space to do them... that's another story, I suppose.

    I've got the space and a friend with a lift if I need it. The OCC should be fairly simple when I get some time. I'd rather watch the valve cleaning process the first time though.

    What's the point of having a highway beast if you're scared to put miles on it?
