I can modify maps all day long. I bought my AP and got AccessTuner Race back in 2012, though. Of course, I can't modify the locked FREEKTUNE maps I have. But I self-tuned for years before finally going pro. Peeps like me, who've had our AP's and ATR for years, have full access to making map alterations.

It's the new guys who are getting shafted, which has caused the new push toward Versatuner for a lot of folks. In some ways, Versatuner is better, including the ability to fully disable SWAS without unplugging, control of various tables up to 8,000rpms (instead of ATR's 7,000), and @steve@versatune seems much more intent on continuing to support our "dead" platform than COBB has been.

In the end, I'm a pragmatist. My AP works for my purposes. Heck, I still have an APv2b, not even a v3. Maybe one day when I build and would like to rev out to 8k, I'll go over to Versatuner; but at this point, doing so would be a luxury, not a necessity.

Put my second Damond OCC in today. Anyone think I'll have issues with the way I routed/installed the hose? I tried it without the 90s and the hose was too eager to kink.

That looks pretty good to me, the lines are mostly straight and curve gradually and it looks like you secured the ones that might have a tendency to put strain on the cans.

No offense, but those images remind me of why I don't use OCC's on my car...lol

I did the full egr del kit from Damond last night and cleaned my throttle body while I was at it. I do have a coolant leak now but I am pretty sure I just used a hose too big as the egr stock plate hose is too short. Will investigate more tonight. Anyone know the stock hose size for the egr plate?

I bypassed the throttle body coolant passages and used one of those hoses. It was a little long and needed to be trimmed, but worked perfect.

Custom cold side pipe and intake i had a friend weld for me.
Intake was originally a 4" kozmic top mount turbo intake which i managed to cut and modify to suit stock location turbo.
Fitment is great and best part is everything ended up to be slightly cheaper than buying a new HTP 4".

As I was leaving the driveway last Saturday, check tire pressure warning came on. Front passenger side tire had a big screw on it. Drove it back to the garage.

Sunday afternoon I decided to install the spare tire so I can take the flat tire to the dealership (I bought my tires there). Couldn't find our breaker bar anywhere, so had to do it the hard way using the tire wrench that came with the car >_<. I got most of the lug nuts loose except 2, that were just stuck no matter how much weight I put on it (I had to stand on the tire wrench to loosen all the lug nuts). My brother had the idea to check if the tire wrench that came with the CX-5 would work better. So we checked and found that the CX-5 tire wrench fits the lug nuts better and was also longer too. It had just enough leverage to loosen the last 2 lug nuts. After that, it was smooth sailing dismounting the flat tire and mounting the spare tire. This is actually my first time ever doing this. I've seen videos before but never had to do it until yesterday.

This morning took the flat tire to the dealership then went to work. Went back to the dealership at noon, they had the tire fixed, mounted it and got a free car wash. Total cost $0.

Filled up the car with E85 and am back on my E85 flash tune. My fuel mileage on the stock tune was actually 21.2 MPG, which is the same mileage I get when I'm on the e85 tune LOL. It probably didn't help that I was flooring it on 2nd gear often to get a feel for the difference between the stock tune and flash tune.

Hey sorry I never responded to this. I'd say it was about 30 pounds. I finally got around to doing rear doors and back hatch so probably 40 pounds total. Next step is going to be a layer of mass loaded vinyl along the floor and wherever else I can find space and that's the heavy stuff, ie 60 lbs

Do write a quick review here after you've hooked it up.

I'm surprised Corksport hasn't yet made a post here about these gauges. I only came across them on FB.

Got around to installing the Damond PMM V2 I scored from @Joshua@virtue as a result of the September raffle, big thanks to Josh and the big man @Raider for making the raffle happen.

Yes, there are some additional vibes and bit more cabin noise over the OEM PMM but it's not obnoxious by any means. I haven't noticed any appreciable difference in performance yet but the car feels more alive and I can hear the timing chain noise now.

My only wish....would have been for @Matt@DM and company to make the mount weigh at least the same as the stock unit so it would be 100% legal in SCCA Street classes (it misses by ~8oz.).

I don't consider myself all that competitive in STX but I do plan to take in more regional events next season and would prefer not to be called out and DQ'd for an engine mount that is 1/2 lb lighter than stock. I was actually hoping to get my hands on a version 1 PMM in the hopes the hunks of aluminum and more substantial lower bracket would weigh in at the same or greater weight, I missed the cut off I guess.
