IMG_3417.JPG IMG_3512.JPG IMG_3514.JPG Just wanted to say hello from Baltimore Maryland!
I recently purchased a 2010 mazdaspeed 3 as my daily. It's my 5th mazda out of the 33 cars I've had in the last 15 years or so, with the other mazdas being three miatas and an fc Rx7[IMG]

I also have an 04 mazdaspeed miata, it's my long term project, and doesn't get driven very often unfortunately because I work in a bodyshop and I HATE when it gets dusty and dirty. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I'm planning on keeping the 3 mostly stock, for now I just have a cobb intake and accessport. I'll probably do a full exhaust and protune along with a rear motor mount and hpfp internals and be done with mods.

As you can see, the miata is far from a stock car at this point. Performance wise it has flyin miata's little enchilada, flatout suspension coilovers, and some sticky tires on the work cr-01 wheels. I've spent most of my time and money buying rare cosmetic bits that I wished I could afford back when I bought my first miata in 2002. Eventually I'll either do a forged motor, big turbo build, or a K series swap... but it's hard to pull the trigger on those due to cost

    That's my intro!
    Thanks!
    Ken

In addition, Photobucket screwed me and I tried to link flickr images, but it seems as if I can't see them on mobile... you may not see them either... I'm bad at this

That's a weird spot for a steering wheel. I generally like them in front of me when I drive but hey whatever floats your boat!

You know that's on the left side which is the side America has the wheel on, right? That being a pic from behind the car. [IMG]

Whoops. At first glance it looked like it was in the back window like some ricers do when they have those quick release wheels.

No quick release or odd wheel placement here! Now that I look at the photo I see how it could look odd

Welcome fellow Maryland MazdaSpeed/Miata owner! I'm somewhat opposite of you with the MS3 as the weekend/race car and the Miata as my Daily. I live down in Columbia and work in the Inner Harbor, maybe I'll see you around at some local meets! Here's my two babies (and my roommate's new ND)

Main reason I thought I saw that is because I used to have some faggy ricer coworkers that had those stupid quick release wheels and they would put them in their windshields or rear windows. I must have had a terrible flash back.

Welcome and sweet looking MSM. For a while I was thinking about sourcing a MSM and doing the big enchilada + suspension + 4-wheel BBK. Trouble is, I don't know if it will be eyeball-searingly fast enough and I already have way too much other unorganized crap going on.
