Hey! My name is Brandon. Coming over from the MSF community, I was a lurking member since 2011. I really hope to be more active here with posting and helping others. I have a pretty extensive trail of fail from my own vehicle, and I believe I may be able to offer some guidance for others so they don't make the same mistakes as I did.

I drive a 2011 LSM Mazdaspeed 3. It is currently not running as the engine is being rebuilt. On that note, though, I am fully bolted with the Corksport Turbo. She will be running within the next couple of weeks and I cannot wait. I plan on making the ENM with the Oklahoma guys and look forward to being a member here!

Welcome! I feel ya on that paperweight deal.. I haven't even gone into my garage in the last couple of weeks. Can't look at the car yet. 6 months before he's running. Oh well.
But at least you're almost out of the woods!

Thank you! I understand not going into the garage! I think I made it almost a month once without going to see her... Just too heartbreaking, lol. What is wrong with your car? Another 6 months before you're in it again? That wait is TERRIBLE. I haven't had my car since before Halloween....

Welcome! Hope you get it up and running soon. My shits broken too. It drives fine to the grocery store and back but I can't go WOT in 4th anymore because it makes my car smell like burnt clutch and crushed dreams. Can't wait to get a 6 puck.

It's got oil in cyl 4 and coolant in cyl 1. Since someone else is gonna do the motor swap, I thought it best not to tear into it anymore. The general consensus from everyone who has been around a while is that the car lifted the head, but I'm on stock turbo and had been running a fairly conservative tune. It probably did eat the head gasket, but i know for a fact it never overheated. Waiting on machining to be done. They said 4-6 months. So come end of September I'll go drop him off and pick up a week later. I'm happy time goes by so quick
