    Wait, what? That's the inside of the wheel, right, the drop center area? How did a pothole do that? Or is this something that happened a while back. I think I recall someone saying a big piece of sheet steel pierced their tire and wheel.

    Potholes can indeed do that, jagged edges and smashed it going 75mph on the interstate. Bad things happen.

    I guess but usually I just see the outer flange bent over - I've only seen them pierced in the drop center area on forums. Luckily I've only had one wheel get bent (and cracked) but my buddy's old Talon had 5 or 6 bends on the outer beads of both front wheels. Of course, being an OEM lease it was really a "no fucks given" situation.
