I have 2010 MS3 with 170k miles on everything but transmission
My Fuel Pressure idles at 300-320, pressure can build to 1800 while easing the throttle and revving the car but will drop to 250-550 at work, power still feels great, never cuts out, have beaten a 2016 Golf R and 370z no problem with this fuel pressure issue. Replaced my HPRV and nothing changed so I’m stuck at wtf do I do now.

MODS: AP, Cobb Intake, hpfp internals, and inlet hose
eBay downpipe and muffler and resonator deletes
    And Purple Drank 93Tune

170k it might be worth looking at the in tank pump. Would be worth swapping in the AEM and a new oem filter, not crazy spendy and about half a days worth or work. If that doesn't fix it that is at least one more thing to check off the list. You could also clean the spill valve, it might be sticking a little.

Just checked my fuel pressure as a data point.
I idle at ~550 (850 RPM idle) with it dropping to ~415 when I let it fall from 1k rpm.

Yeah Ik that ms what it supposed to say but ever since I’ve owned the car nothing has notably change with how it sounds/runs/ or idles, yet it’s telling me otherwise so I’m just lost as of what it could be if it’s not the sensor, my only hesitation in getting the new sensor is that it’s part of the fuel rail and that’s 800$, I’ve already wasted 200 replacing my pressure relief valve
