So this is probably a dumb question. What is the correct way to adjust the KW coilover rear height? Are you supposed to just start cranking away on the middle of the spring seat with the 10mm Allen key? Or should you loosen the 3 5mm bolts around the big one first?

I tried doing both and it doesn’t want to turn. I ended up shifting the seat a bit and made it off center

I’ve had these on for about a year and a half so it might be frozen up. I know this is dumb question but the German instructions weren’t of much help. Thanks for any help guys.

+1 for the spring perch. The 3 allen bolts thay secure the plate need to aleays stay tight.

If you are having issues adjusting the rear, hit the spring perch underneath the spring with some PB blaster, as the spring probably had crud on it.

If that doesnt work, lift the rear and then adjust it.

For the future, you can put a thin layer of bushing grease underneath the nylon washer that goes between the spring and perch. That should help prevent it from getting stuck again.

Ah ok thanks guys. So leave the 3 allen bolts and turn the big allen in the perch while there is weight on the car. I was trying to turn it while the rear was lifted on jack stands. derp.
