JMF with rail and injectors - sold
    Split second controller - sold
Damond PCV plate with vented can - sold
    Koyo rad is pending
And CPe exhaust manifold is pending.

Not a bad little part out. Good cash back in the pocket.

Fighting to get this damn manifold off lol, it keeps binding up on everything stud. I will need a second set of hands i think,

Im excited to just get my stock block back in this thing and just get it running again. It will be a fantastic street car again with maybe a track day here or there.

    Well,

got the cpe off. It sucked but it’s gone now. Jmf sold. Cpe sold. Koyo rad sold. Split second controller sold. BBK has a deposit on it to be paid in full in the new year.

not a bad little mini part out.

in other news my shop is now no more. We spent the last few weeks moving out. Tons of shit to move.

Had to bring my stock block home.

I now have my stock block on an engine stand, and the engine hoist all stuffed into my tiny single garage. It’s still workable but man it sucks. Can’t be doing these kind of activities without space. Now that I have no shop to work out of im thrilled to not have to be chasing down shit ever week with this thing.

spare transmission chilling in the background. That’ll be going in.

at this point I need to move over a few pulleys and that’s it. Call a buddy over to help me pull the motor and that’ll be it. I might even just try and send it myself I hate waiting on others lol. Impatient I am. Just want this thing running and driving.

starting to get real cold now. Hoping I can finish this up before new year.

Got the motor all dressed up. Turbo plumbed. It’s ready to go back in. Really hoping to be able to pull it off this weekend. I’m excited to get this thing back together!

You're only in the GTA not all that bad, already had -34 here although cold weather sucks either way.
Nice to see it's ready to go back in though

Done deal. Gotta plumb it, gotta pull the IM off and tap the brake booster plug for a barb fitting. I should have this thing running next weekend. Also all of my trans bolts were stretched and fucked. Good to know the shop that did my clutch “cares” lol. Idiots. So new trans bolts I need but otherwise that’s it!

One broken bolt in the new trans, my buddy brought his welder,

Noticed this as well, thankfully welder was here lol,
    2AD18C55-D951-46B8-9EC8-795084423487.jpeg

And that’s freaking it. Need trans bolts, fluids, and that’s it. Plug/plumb everything and done deal.

Swapped over my CS seals/injectors yesterday into my stock block. Good thing I did as cylinder 2 was leaking(oem seals with 88k miles on them).

My CS seals also look like they might’ve been leaking in my built motor? Could’ve also been the PB blaster I used to help everything come apart.

just waiting on my intake manifold gasket now. Also need to find my check valve setup for my catch can. That’s important lol. hopefully I have first start this weekend!!

That’s it that’s all. Said I’d get it running by Sunday as a joke but I spent today sending it.

    Very Canadian work conditions today,

Went to drive the thing on Christmas Eve. Battery was dead. Hooked up the charger. Took the car off the jack stands getting ready to roll.

let it charge for a few hours. Still nothing. Ok.
Left it over night. Christmas morning I had some free time so decided to give it a go. Battery charger showing me an error. This battery is toast. What are the chances after it started up multiple times in the last week lol. Fucking frustrating.

got out today picked up a new battery. $180 later…oil feed banjo bolt is leaking. Ok I thought. Gave it another 1/4 turn and righty tighty went righty loosey. FUCKKKKKK.

    4FBB8E27-3EAF-4676-9738-24706E68BFA1.jpeg

looks like the threads just fucked off. Nice. Turbo looks like the threads are ok but who knows. Going to have to find another bolt(good luck thread pitch on this is ridiculous). If the bolt don’t go, I’ll have to pull the turbo cause clearly it’s fucked.

I’m so over this. This is pushing me to sell the thing. Pulling the turbo is the last thing I want to do and if it costs me more then time to fix I’ll be taking my buddies old ass ko4 and installing that. I’m over it lol. Cars not worth much but selling it is looking good right now.

It’s so frustrating. It happens though. I’ll get the car fixed and I think I’ve decided it’ll go for sale.

Got the car fixed up and finally cruised.

my fuck this thing drives so nice. The suspension and alignment feel amazing. Merging onto the highway was too good lol. I missed the car. I think I’ll drive it on the nice days for a bit to make sure it’s solid then spend the money on winter tires/wheels and just call it a daily.

still gotta do my maf cal and logs for Will but damn it pulls nicely. Feels great.

I’m undecided. We’ll see how it drives for a little while and go from there. I’m already fighting what I believe is an issue. Voltage takes a pretty big shit whenever I turn the steering wheel. Like drops into the 12’s…this battery is brand new 4 days old now. Cables are good and tight. I’ve even added some grounds. Idle voltage is good but soon as that electric steering gets going for a second voltage drops low and I don’t remember if that’s normal. Probably not. These are the kind of issues I don’t want and the reason Im still on the fence of selling. We’ll see

Stock manifolds. Gt3071 with the ewg hotside. Basically exactly how I ran the car for ~4 years. Only difference now is it’s catless and has a better fmic setup. That’s about it lol

Got the car oil sprayed. Now I feel ok about driving it in the winter lol
    AFB64F18-6049-4589-8C41-46413AB02830.jpeg

I find it a little tough to enjoy the thing. It spins tires almost immediately the second I hit any boost lol. Like roasting 4th to merge onto the highway is ridiculous lol. The tires are complete crap but I have a hard time believing better winter tires would do any better.

I should probably also have the race alignment taken off the car lol. Whoops

second revision from Will came lastnight. Will be excited to go log that. Hopefully it’s dry enough out that I can hook 4th. It’s just ridiculous how hard this thing spins lol
