Yea facebook sucks, but it works well enough for what I need it for. Instagram is worse.

If you are looking for true plug and play you will not be able to find a Mating connector for the VVT as the connector was designed as a "sensor only" connection. Me and several others have reach out to suppliers and even companies who are known for creating knock off but compatible no part number mates to things with no luck. China has not gotten around to developing a true mate. Which is why in my picture there you see it using another family connector that utilizes the same Pin/socket style as the VVT. So you would depin the VVT, use the supplied connector, and plug that into the extension harness.

I am terrible about checking here, but going to try and be more active. The tag the other night sent me a notification and I was like "oh yea, I need to check to see how things are going on the forums!"

It can be difficult to remember some times. I feel it. We try to push MSO on social media more now. Seems to be helping.

Back on topic? So what's the plan now? Can you just de-pin, rewire and re-pin?

That is correct. You would depin the stock one by removing white locking faceplate, and using a pick or jewelers flat blade to depin the sockets, use provided connector that utilizes the same socket/pin family, and then use/connect the provided extension.

Once upon a time when Eric was doing the extensions he was using the Main family connector (white face) of that socket/pin setup and to me that was too bulky and huge when trying to hide things. I suggested to him we move over to this other style commonly used with fuel injectors(red face) as they had a much smaller footprint. See attached.

But I think he still had like 40+ sets he needed to burn through at the time before he could swap over [emoji28].

I also need to make an option for the PowerSteering extension. That one is much simpler but holy crap was that OEM PowerSteering connector and absolute pain to find, and then learn there is not official mate to that either. [IMG][IMG]
