Bought a MESS of a 2007 True Red BK Speed 3 in ~Aug. 2019. Was previously modded, 188k+ miles, pouring smoke out the exhaust, and spent too much. However I saw something in it, and I took the emotional and financial plunge that is this Speed 3. I have decided to call it Swordfish II, Spike's ship from Cowboy Bebop, while my friend's 2002 LS430 is Hammerhead, Jet's towing ship.
I have spent a lot of money in repairs, maintenance, and mods. Largest ticket item was the motor rebuild at ~196k miles after severe compression loss, well as new clutch and flywheel with the rebuild. Fortunately and unfortunately, I cannot seem to let go of this car, it may break or be undrivable every other month, but when I do enjoy the car its like magic and makes me fall in love with it all over again.
Currently at ~200k miles and am the 6th owner, its been ran through.
