    Hi all,

    Madison, WI-based newbie to MSO here. Have owned my genwon since 2012 and caught the modding bug in the last year and a half or so. I lurked on the "other forums" for a long time but started posting a little bit in the last few weeks; figured it'd be beneficial to my car's well-being to also expose myself to the knowledge base over here.

    I've got a few plans for the car but don't intend to go too crazy with it, since it's my daily driver and I also have new-home-expenses eating into my mod budget.

    Current notable mods include Corksport SRI/TIP, BPV, RMM, SSP/bushings, Cobb APv3 (OTS map because I'm a tuning n00b), and Grimmspeed EBCS.
    I've also got a single resonator delete, DGM carbon fiber spoiler lip, RX8 rims, DDM 4500k with Nokya yellow fogs, JBR heavyweight shift knob, vent pod boost gauge, and CS steering wheel, mud flaps, stubby antenna & interior LED kit.
    Koni Oranges and GC front bump stops will be installed this weekend.

    Planned future mods are HPFP, race pipe, TMIC, OCC, RSB/bracing, and an e-tune.

    I have two cats, a dog and a beard. I like beer.

    :thumbsup::beermug:

    Hola! We have a beard thread in Off-Topic, too.

    Careful on the AP and no hpfp. That will give you a bad day quickly. Also, when you do, look into a custom eTune. Way better than OTS!

    Good tip, I'll have to make my beard present in that thread!

    For sure; HPFP is next on the list, but got bumped down a slot after I put on my new (used) wheels the other week and realized that my shocks are probably shot...hoping the new set remedies the creaking that has cropped up since mounting the RX8s and also helps with the rear wheels bottoming out in the well (225/45 tires; doesn't look like fenders need to be rolled, I think it's just rubbing on the weather guards?).

    For now, I don't run WOT very often but when I have, fuel pressure has stayed above 1600. E-tune is also on the list once I've added a few more pieces; in the meantime, I'm just running Stage 1+SF 91 with some MAF work to match my CS intake...relatively conservative I think, but I am at least able to break loose in second gear after flashing away from the stock map.

    Haha, thanks guys!

    Unfortunately, it turns out that GC sent me the wrong stops, so I'm still waiting to swap the front shocks. Went ahead with doing the rear set because fuck it, I had an itch to do SOMETHING with the car this weekend. I did consider grabbing an Energy Suspension bump stop kit from OReilly/AZ so I could tear into the front, too, but wasn't sure about swapping in polyurethane instead of foam...wasn't really able to find any info on whether that was a good or bad idea. =\

    Should be able to grab HPFP internals soon and hopefully have a smooth install with those (I'm still a wrenchin' newbie), and then it's more breather mods to come...
