Hey guys! I am new to Mazda but have always thought the mazdaspeed 3 was a cool hatch! I have came upon an opportunity to actually buy one but I’m pretty overwhelmed with the info I’ve been provided on it lol. I was wondering if anyone here could help. I’m basically asking if any of this is anything good and acceptable before I pull the trigger on this or if I just need to start elsewhere lol

I believe I have uploaded a picture of the list. Thanks in advance for any insight!

    Whalecum to mso!

Seems like a solid build and tuned by an amazing tuner, don't see hpfp internals listed but I don't see Justin tuning that turbo without them. Personally I'd still ask for a compression test and the build sheet for the engine

You're welcome to post the link to the listing so we can look it over, metal Members here also get Carfaxs run on vins for them, here's what to look for when buying a used speed

Yeah, let's see the car. I am seeing a TON of Mazdaspeeds posted on Facebook with salvage titles. Not all disclosed, either.

Thanks for the response guys! The one sure issue I’m really gonna look at is the cv axle issue. I don’t understand what he means by vibration when it’s cold? A bad cv axle is bad cold, warm, or hot lol.

As was mentioned it seems like a solid build. My first question is how many miles are on that built motor and what does a data log look like? Also since you are new to the MZR platform I'll warn you now these cars can get expensive real quick! Not to scare you away as they are a TON of fun but you should just be aware they are older cars at this point and require proper care.
