Does or has anyone used these? A neighbor of mine lives them on his evo. They make a set for the fd and the fc. I called them to ask about ms3 and he said they did make them a few years ago but have since been discontinued. Just wondering if anyone had any experience with them or if it might be a potential for getting them to do another batch add some sort of group but type thing... Or if they were a company to just stay away from for some reason?

    Thanks

They are cheap coils from what I remember, so you get what you pay for IMO when it comes to coils. If you are just looking for low, they might work and be what you want. But as far are performance goes, (again from what I remember) there are better choices.

Cool beans, they don't even list poor cars either gen, anymore. Not looking for Low, i am looking for real performance, low would just be a byproduct.

I have mazdaspeed motorsports coils. They are great, but really dont go low at all. Honestly, Im not good enough to use them to their fullest yet. Lots of tuning to do on them. But in reality, they are revalved KW V2s, so a set of KWs would treat you well too.

@Nliiitend1 could help guide you Im sure if you needed.

Your coilovers are actually analogous to KW V3s, not V2s. ;)

    ...and regarding Fortune Auto:

(don't know if linking to that thread is considered a no-no or anything...but fuck typing all that shit out again)

That thread chronicles their involvement in the platform pretty much from beginning to end.

No issues linking to the old forum from anyone here. If you find a used set, know they are at least 4 years old and will probably need to be rebuilt...

Would more people have gotten them if they ironed out the kinks liike the abs/brake line bracket and some of their other issues? Or because some of their parts were made in taiwan/china were the kind of doomed from the start?

Pretty sure it is a Raceland syndrome issue. It's cheap, but no match to legit tested and manfactured coilovers. no doubt everyone would run the top of the line stuff if they had the $.
