@JBR Was wondering what the thickness of your FMIC cold side piping is in millimeters. I need a silicone adapter for my meth kit and need to get the right size. I figured I'd ask on here before I spent a bunch of time to measure it myself. Thanks

I would guess it is a standard 4-ply silicone.

Is the range for your adapter that tight? It's probably safe to take any 4 ply silicone coupler you have laying around and measure it. Or pop the cold pipe off at the throttle body and take a quick measurement.

It says "7 layer silicone" on their website so think its a little thicker. I just figured it would be faster to pose the question to the manufacturer than to take my car apart. It is a tight tolerance due to needed to make a good seal for my meth nozzle.

Safe bet "7 layer silicone" is 4 ply. 4 layers of silicone + 3 structural layers between each layer of silicone.

Got their FMIC? It'd be real easy to go outside with a ruler and measure the thickness at one of the couplers, right?

That's what I'm going to do when it quits raining. Just would've been super simple to not have to take anything apart, even though it's just a clamp

I just went and measured mine (same FMIC kit) and came up with 5.5mm. That's 0.217". The closest fractional measurement is 7/32", which is 0.219". Hope that helps.

number of ply's is equal to structural layers - so it's 3 ply.
