Finally de-badged, clayed, and waxed. Hopefully this helps the paint survive the winter.

LPS3 sprayed on the bottom. Mine looks pretty damn good since I did that before winter driving. It'll need it again before next winter.

    Car looks good.

crapatalk, yes it sucks for free.

My ebay didn't last very long as I mentioned in the video but honestly I would consider rolling the dice with another one first before fighting with one of these. The only downside if you have a pu is you need to get someone to reweld the secondary O2 bung flush.

Same here. Cracked on the original buyer at the flange, so I got it for $50, and the O2 bung had already been shortened. Paid a buddy $30 to weld it up nice and good. No issues at all. $80 total for a long DP with 40k+ miles and counting.

Ordered Ultimate Racing Racepipe. No free shipping, but they are having a 20% Cyber Monday sale through their website, so it still comes out cheaper.

Sounds to me like the same issues I had in the rear end trying to install the new coils....
Bolt rusted to the sleeve in the rear passenger control arm.
Note: Bolt on the left with the yellow line on it in the attached photo
    [IMG]
When we tried to bust it loose I snapped the bolt clean off all the way threaded in, not even a 1/4 turn lol. Had to drive home with stock coils and shocks but a low front end. Cranked the coils in the front and it drove half way decent for one blown rear shock....

    1) Installed the JBR solid RMM.
    2) Masturbated while it idled.

Took it to a local shop and had them install H&R lowering springs, then brought it home and installed mudflaps and put on some 5mm spacers. Dunno if I'm going to keep the spacers though; they have added a noticeable shake.

It's the second time hes done it. I've only done it once on my car, formerly in Illinois, and it looks great underneath. It's a wax based film that prevents bad things from happening and lasts 3 years. It does a great job.

Yeah, my area mixes a little gravel with the salt, so the leading edges get grit blasted and rust a little even with the LPS. So every year I use some rust converter on the bad parts, and coat with LPS again. My car isn't rust free, but looks a lot better than most cars that have seen three Illinois winters. I just have some minimal spot surface rust rather than wholesale subframe rusting.

Yeah. I took a pic and rolled pretty slow the rest of the way home. I just knew a deer or something would walk into my path.
