New windshield wipers. The old Rain-X ones were good, but it's been over 3 years. At ~$18 each, I decided to try a new brand:
Found these for literally half the price (both blades included - 24" + 19" for a Pu):

The seem to be of decent quality. Not shoddy, not top-notch; thousands of ratings on Amazon putting them at 4.5 stars, though. The real test will be the first time it rains:

    Fingers crossed.

Got the Ultimate Racing Racepipe installed over the weekend. Even with the high flow cat on it, there is a noticeable increase in in-cabin volume above 3k RPM. While idling, it sounds the same as when I only had my Magnaflow CBE. Above 3k RPM, it makes the exhaust come alive and car sounds more aggressive. I like it and the wife likes it too. Volume levels are still pretty conservative. I think once I get the Ultimate Racing downpipe installed, the volume level will be perfect for what I want out of the car.

If you have the Magnaflow CBE and you think it is too quiet, install a Racepipe before deciding on a different CBE.

Not sure how much of a performance improvement it provided since I flashed to the basemap from Dizzy Tuning right after the install. That reminds me, I still owe Jason some datalogs.

Install blizzaks on the ND with a set of inexpensive sparco wheels.

I pulled the turbo to clock it and had to make my own IWG bracket since the BNR bracket does not work clocked. I guess this is why everyone else who does BNR S4 under route uses an EWG.

Heat shield will go back on once I have gotten everything running and checked for leaks! I also need to get new bolts for it since the little 8 mm head are rounded off on them now.

Ah, good to know. According to JBR, the S2 and S3 BNR brackets are totally reusable when clocking. Must be a different case with the S4's?

100% the case. It's not nearly long enough to clear the housing when clocked. It's super close as it is unclocked.

Car is running fantastically and ready to start tuning. Finally no boost leaks.

Are you guys getting a lot of snow this year Derrick? If so, how's the Miata doing with the winter tires?

It is the average amount of snow. With some fairly worn OEM tires and 120 lbs of whatever in the trunk the did ok. With the blizzaks it is a piece of cake.

Derrick did you do anything for rust protection? I'm about to get an RF for the wife to daily.

Locally they use a saline based de-icer here but it isn't that often. I just wash off the underside of the car every week and I have never had any problems with rust for the past 20 years I have been in the area.

Ahhh we have salt here, and even with some diy sealing, my speed 3 is not as rust free as I'd like. I might have to take the Miata to Zbart or similar every year.

That is tough with salt. I would cringe driving my ND in that stuff on a regular basis.
