What's up everyone's? Like the title says new guy from Texas. I picked up a 2012 mazdaspeed3 a couple months ago and am looking forward to throwing some mods at it soon.

I'm going to build it slowly. Right now I really want to pick up an accessport. Then I plan on getting hpfp internals and an intake/tip. Eventually would like to be full bolt ons and running e30.

Good deal, man. If you're looking to get your hands dirty before picking up the AP or doing any power mods, consider grabbing a rear motor mount. That shit will drastically improve drivability for a low cost and super easy install; highly recommended as one of the first mods any MS3 owner should do.

Thanks man. I don't think I've even taken her over 120 yet lol. I guess I'm getting old.

Yeah that's definitely high on my list. I'm trying to decide between the JBR and Damond versions. I'm thinking a little less vibes isn't worth the extra 45 dollars.

Having run both kinds (multiple mounts) with my BNR S3 power levels, I can say Damond is by far my favorite in every way, including the strength/reliability of the mounts. The adage is true: you get what you pay for. It's not just a matter of lesser vibes. IMHO, Damond designs are superior; the lower vibes are an added benefit of this, but not the main goal. Controlling motor movement is the point, and the Damond mounts do this top-notch as well.

I'm running a CS RMM, highest durometer they offer (dunno if they still have multiple options available like they used to?) and have zero complaints about it; however, common opinion these days tends to be that the Damond mounts are second to none. They may cost slightly more, but I know they'll be who I go with when I finally do my side mounts.

Welcome. We have speeds all over Houston and probably the best shop to have work done at too.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I stay in Pearland but usually hang out in clear lake or downtown. Feel free to hit me up sometime for any meets/cruises y'all hear about. I've been out of the scene for a while.
