OTS map is relative shit, you run a not insignificant risk of damaging your motor.

Not sure if you have read more into how you E-Tune using the Accessport, but let me tell you from personal experience of a newbie that the Tuners here are super nice and they walk you through everything. Before my MS3 I had next to 0 car knowledge. I knew how to change my oil and check basic fluids. Besides that - nothing else. So its hard to get any more newbie than me.

I also ran my car using the OTS maps since those are better than the stock settings, but once you get a E-Tune you will see a signicant difference. Make sure you watch your Knock Retard using your Accessport (you can set it in the settings). I was getting some pretty high Knock Retard using the OTS maps.

A RMM is an absolute must. Even bone stock that's the first thing you should do. I too am curious about the corkspert stage 2. I spoke with them about it when I went there to pick up my downpipe. It changes the pivot point. Instead of on a rubber/silicone center (which wears down over time) its got an extra plate to mount it and allows for the pivot point where that plate meets almost a rod like shape to reduce wear and a smoother transition of movement in the motor.

Thanks for the comments about tuning with AP. I took your advice and got it tuned by Eric at Dizzy Tuning. I have his basic 91 octane tune, and need to run my logs for him so he can fine tune it. I am already happy with the power and mileage too. Did I comment on the CorkSport Stage 2 RMM? I like it lots. Combined with the increased NVH of that mount, I added the Damond PMM. After putting the CS strut/springs, the NVH was more than I wanted to deal with. My tech guru suggested going back to the stock PMM, which I did.

If you continue modding for more power you may have to change the other stock mounts.

The stock ones are really crappy compared to aftermarket. The RMM is definitely total crap though. I actually killed one of the stock RMM and got it replaced under the warranty.

Now you will get more vibes in the cabin, but overall it does mellow out.

I have the JBR at highest duro, but you don't have to get it that high. I have heard Damond has great mounts. I suggest reading around before buying (something I shoulda done).

Thanks for your comments. I have the CS Stage 2 RMM already, as stated above. I also have the CS TMM insert. I went back to stock PMM after having a Damond unit there. When I had the CS spring/shock/strut package installed, the NVH was way more than I wanted to deal with on a daily driver level, which is why I went back to stock. I am hoping someone comes up with a PMM that has just a little more cushion to it. If I blow the stock unit, I will likely replace it with a new stock mount as the current level of NVH, while higher than any vehicle I have owned, is kind of fun. Adding the CS turbo-back exhaust with the high flow cat has been a great addition, as the sound is really refined and only loud at cold start with all of the vibration from the mounts added in.....fun stuff.
