Welcome! Also in case you haven't, make sure to purchase upgraded high pressure fuel pump internals (autotech or corksport) and grab a cobb accessport used or new and have a proper e-tune for the car! Will make a world of difference

Thanks for the love guys! Yea i have upgraded internals and a AP already. One of the stratified tuning guys has been working with me on the car. Been kinda having trouble with knock. After doing some reading i think i’m going to try out a e85 and 91(best cali has to offer) mix. There’s a gas station that has e85 not too far from my work. Going to see how that goes. Weird thing is since tuning the car also feels like it does not spool up as quick as the stock tune did. Not sure if that’s normal when going with a custom tune.

How far into the tune are you? Starting out easy (and slow) is normal; by the end of the process the car will be running better than OEM or Cobb maps would ever have it.

Been about since mid March. I’ve been patient with the tuner since i know things happen and he’s got a lot of other tunes he working on as well. I get a revision every 10-15 days. It has been getting better though but knock is what i feel is holding us back right now. Hence wanting to try out the e85 mix.

If you throw e85 in on the tune you have now to see whether knock stays or goes that should give you an idea of whether it is fuel related. You just need to make sure you get back to 91 in the tank before you start running new tunes. Usually a tank or two does that.
