simple story for a possibly not so simple issue. picked up my 06 MS6 last night.i noticed that the drivers side window controls are fully functioning. the button for my drivers window works fine both up and down... but the other 3 buttonsdo absolutely nothing. with the window lock on or off. i forgot to check each individuals doors buttons fto see if they worked or not but i will do that tonight. im thinking its possibly the entire unit in my door thats not functioning properly..any thoughts?

Glad you discovered the rest procedure lol. However the other window. The bolts holding the glass in probly came lose over time and fell down into the door. Go open the door and shake it real good and listen for hardware rattle.

im just gonna take the door skin off and see whats up. im afraid to shake the door too much because im afraid that the glass will slide down uncontrolled if its not supproted by something. the motor sounds good and doesnt sound like its binding or locked up. im sure its just a matter of reconnecting something.

If the motor is up the window won't fall when you shake it. But if the motor runs and the window doesn't drop then the bolts came out. But yes removing the door skin is super easy.
