For a while now I have been dreaming of having a side exhaust on my Mazdaspeed 6, or actually been dreaming of having two (one of each side).

I'm not that handy (I work in IT), but have learned to change / upgrade quite a few parts now on my MPS.

Last week my friend and old neighbor came over. He was lead Toyota (and before that Mazda) garage. He helped me replace my starter engine which I bought new after another garage changed it for me (with a second hand I had) and charged me 300 euro's.. and the secondhand part was faulty as well wtf haha. So he replaced the starter in 1 hour! Damn, that was quick.

Then, we started working together on adding the mufflers I bought. Already removed the old two end mufflers, and now added the holes in the car (which was scary but exciting a/f xD).

Have added some photo's of the process. It's not perfect and because of the old seals and such, I will be replacing the rest of the exhaust (from cat to and with Y split point) as well somewhere soon. Also was a great exercise using a rivot gun and such.

Final step today was to let someone weld and extra support (don't have decent welder or the skills yet). Now if fits better than on the photo's hehe.

Also a link to a small video I made for the sound (damn so happy with it):

I'm not sure why you did this but to each their own. I would suggest elongating the pipe out of the bumper. Even with the plate on the outside of it, it looks like it will still melt the bumper due to heat.

Hi! Heheh yea I just really like the look of it :D

Will take your tip into consideration. Still have to replace the T/Y part of the exhaust because it's very rusty, so will then make both exhausts stick out a bit more as well.
