[doublepost=1455117769][/doublepost]current list of mods from previous owner include (but are not limited to, as i need to get a full rundown of the car)
HPFP internals, Cobb CAI, AP V3, w/ Tuning done by TPG performance in Pittsburgh. Magnaflow exhuast and STS. car is lowered a bit but i believe its just springs. new clutch installed 5 days ago. immediate plans are to replace necessary fluids, do some general maintainance, take care of some minor cosmetic work (headlights need buffed, spoiler needs recleared, small rust spot on hood) then begins the fun. most recent dyno it put down 256whp and 335ftlbs @19psi. once i get a better grasp of the overall engine health, ill be looking to retune and bump the psi up a few if possible. oh and the car comes with a FMIC kit and a full set of spare factory rims. gonna hold off on the FMIC install until im ready to retune.

ugh... i hate waiting for money to come in. in the meantime, in order to hopefully keep me from going insane, ive been exploring options for "upgrades". lkooking at either a BNRs3 or BNRs4 for a turbo upgrade, match that with the FMIC and a fresh tune by freektune, hope to see some gains. really want to get to 380400 whp without going too wild if ossible. also discussed an engine build next winter, looking like BT or bust for that build. will keep this thread updated as it moves along.. simply waiting for the money to finalize this.

I would throw the CorkSport turbo in the mix. With tmic I hit 386HP 357TQ and still tuning. That was with E-30 and 91

Is that chp or whp? The fmic is already here, so it'll go on. Turbo is for sure getting replaced. Just a question of which turbo. Precision 5858, BNRS3/ or BNRS4. I'd like to be around 400 whp. But if I get to 375-380 on pump I'll call it even

nice! i really hope to be right there within a year. good news though! i made a deal with my wife. i was just gonna junk my current vehicle as it needs a lil work and has seen better days, but she wanted to upgrade our cable tv (we had basic as im a cheap ass like that) so now that she upgraded, ill be fixing my current car up and selling it outright to pay for the turbo upgrade! yeah buddy.

Unique interior. It's not that bad looking.

just the stock (albeit fairly uncommon) black/white leather interior. whats really rare is theres no tears or stretches in the leather at all.

I plan on doing full mounts. I have seen pics of our stock rear diff mount broken in half. Dredd Jugg is good. Turbine Tech has one that pairs with the CP-E rear mount.

Thought it might be worth mentioning that increasing the the boost over 20psi wouldn't really be recommended on the stock block (at least from my reading) esp since its your DD. There's a fair amount of upgrades between here and there though that can get you that HP you crave. Not the least of which is going BNR/CS Turbo like you have mentioned.

And yes mounts. RMM, rear diff brace, and rear diff mount were my first upgrades. It tightened up the car in general and made it feel more solid under load. Do the RMM minimum ASAP (unless you already have and i missed it).

FWIW our power goals are the same. My final build will keep the tmic with a bnrs3 (for spool time) and add meth for cooling. From what I understand, with a tune and supporting mods just under 400whp with that kind of set up on the stock block is completely realistic.

Best of luck with the build man!

im just not looking forward to doing them. the process seems intensive, but not complicated. just alot of unbolting and moving shit.

@NavysailorMS3 yep i believe it was the most uncommon interior in the speed6's, and given their total production numbers id say fairly rare. funny part is i found 2 MS6's for sale and both had this interior.

@Speedling6 ive decided to go BNRs3, i have no use for the capabilities of the S4, when i get around to building an engine, ill want to go full BT. i believe i've seen MS6's pushing 22-24psi on SB with decent mileage under them but ill be honest, im not looking to find the edge of my engines limits. If i can get into the 375-400 whp range ill be content. I dont autoX, drag race or launch cars, so any and all use is 90% highway and pulls id do while traveling. Im going FMIC only because the kits included with the car. so why not. plus id like to gut the underside of the hood if possible once the TMIC is gone. so as of now its BNRs3 from Freektune as its $1,099.99 and comes with a free e-tune. havent even looked at or thought about Meth.

Fair point with the fmic. And honestly the only reason I am so dead set on meth is because i dont want the FMIC set up. I'd say see where your build puts you then consider meth either for cooling (WMI) if you need it, or for fueling if you're below your HP goals. There's a local guy in GA that has hit the numbers you're talking about and he did it after going BNRS3 and 100% meth. Its worth looking into at the least.

have his name or any links to his build threads? my brother has an used snow meth kit sitting that he said i can buy if i want it but hoenstly thats down the road a bit. i just read up on WMI and im more open to it now as i thought it was a constant feed, didtn realize that its boost-signaled. so depending on the tune, and my driving habits. i could be crusining on the highway and never even need the meth. but once i get into heavy boost it would start feeding
[doublepost=1455644507][/doublepost]and truth be told. ive never understod why guys chase numbers. when i rode in the car the first time, it scares the hell out of me. and thats at roughyl 260 whp and 335 ft lbs . so realistically if i do these upgrades chances are ill be happy no matter where the numebrs fall.

I found the front mount overall, fairly straight forward. Took one day and a little cutting. Now looks like it was meant to be there. Now its much easier to get to things on top and Bats are 30+ degrees cooler.

looks amazing and stock at that. did you have to modifiy that lower grille? if i remember correctly the top half of the grille is covered on the backside which would prevent airflow from reaching the FMIC.
