I know we have a 60-100 thread, but figured I'd start a 60-130, since that's how a lot of the rest of the car world measures straight line speed/power aside from 1/4 mile times

Stock hellcat put down 8.4 seconds during Car & Drivers testing for reference
Other supercars from Car & Driver:
    Enzo: 7.0
    CGT: 7.3
    F430: 9.5
    F50: 9.6
    Others examples found:
    7.0 - Ferrari Enzo
    7.2 - Mercedes SLR McLaren
    7.2 - Porsche 997 GT2, 1-shift
    7.3 - Porsche Carrera GT
    7.3 - Ferrari Enzo
    7.8 - Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, 2-shifts
    7.8 - Lamborghini LP640, stock, 2-shifts
    7.8 - Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06, 2-shifts

    Full mod list in sig:
87* ambient temp and 68% humidity at time of pull

Log attached with added column for corrected wheel speed .

Started in 3rd gear, ended in 5th. Short shifted out of 4th to 5th.

    Time = 8.363 seconds.

It's pulling hard. I'm too slow for 60-130 times at 400whp lol

60 to 100 is just a 4th gear pull so it takes the driver variable out of the equation. To get to 130 you have to do it in 5th or shift so usually they're not very popular here. That and it's hard to go 130 mph in a lot of places. I would love to know my 60 to 130 times but I don't have the balls lol.

Yeah I just did a 5th gear log. Granted building boost is hard down low, but here is mine, not sure if shifting would have been faster or not. (I use the last of both the 60 and 130 frames as they each had multiple.

    8.267 Seconds

@Maisonvi How were you comfortable going WOT in 5th at 2400 RPM? I'd be scrurred shitless of blowing up.

EDIT: didn't see you were on built engine

A good tune keeps load and boost down in that rpm range. I did all my dyno pulls when tuning in 5th so the tires wouldn't spin on the rollers before I had drag radials Wot from 2k to 7350 without an issue. Keep in mind, both my car and @Maisonvi car were running E50 and PI. So cylinder cooling isn't an issue

Btw, a built ms3/6 with pu gears and a proper turbo should be able to surpass 130 in 4th gear around 7300 rpm on a 26" tire. 8k is 150 in 4th on pu gears with a 26" tire.

Added this to the OP , but here's some other cars for comparison

Ran a log this morning, GenPu on 26” tires, 4th gear pull from 3k to 7800. 60-130 ran 9sec flat, so with a 3-4 shift I should be able to cut a decent amount off of that. I should also add it’s my ethanol basemap on this setup, so once it’s dialed in more it’ll improve.

Awesome. Curious to see how much time you shave off doing a 3-4 shift on them pu gears

Having to hit 5th in my Juan Def adds some time.

What kinda power level you at, @ImSlow ?

Vdyno seems super inconsistent with my logs, variying between 570-620. My midrange takes a hit being on a basemap, my wgdc drops boost about 6psi then slowly tapers back up. The graphs show a power drop from about 4500-6000 then from 6-8k it feels monstrous

Gearing, that's why it's the same time. It runs the same ratios and even though you have differences in power it only makes a small difference when you're at speed.

I'd think the ZR1 would be faster with 150+ hp at the same gear ratio. but yeah, I guess this thread proves you don't need 1000 hp to have a damn fast street car. And my idea of a street car is fast up to 130-140.

Torque will help move it along, but gearing is gearing, just because you pedal harder doesn't mean that it's technically faster. HP does make a difference, but that's at 150+ mph.

Here it is! I do 3.5 60-100 consistently, but it was a bit cold today and had wheel spin. Also took a nap shifting -.-
    Screenshot_20200509-194101.png

7.8s should be easy, I'll give it another shot when its warmer out.

Edit: This is 4th and 5th gear.
