This problem is getting worse hoping someone can give me some direction.

Cars a 2012, alarm goes off usually in the heat of the day but randomly. All doors are closed and locked. Alarm trips for 15sec-1min and then goes back off. Had to resort to disconnecting the battery when I'm out of town.

Edit: While driving now the dome light flicker on and off and I get "Door Ajar" on the driver's door.

Does someone have a diagram of the door handle and trunk sensors location? Maybe a test procedure like an ohm reading across the pins?

    Any info would be helpful

All wiring diagrams are found in he manual's section (have to donate to be able to see it).

How olds your battery is it getting low? When I needed a new battery the car alarm started randomly going off.

I've had the same issue with my 2010 but I've noticed it only happens when I park on a specific side of my office building, so I'm assuming there's another signal bouncing around over there that trips it and haven't otherwise researched too much. Have you noticed anything similar with yours, does it only happen in a specific location or does it happen everywhere you go? I have read about Body Control Module issues causing things like alarms and cabin lights to act up (another issue that comes and goes for me).

Battery is relatively new, terminals are clean. Good voltage, No trouble starting.

I thought the same thing at first since it only ever seemed to happen at home. Thought maybe someone's lock button code was my panic button code. But then it happened at my dads house on a hot day, but only ever once. It's been going on for about 7 months. It sits under a garage at his house. It's just it the driveway at my house. So my thoughts have changed to, thinking since it gets more sun at my house inside Temps get hotter and it's expanding a contact in the faulty sensor.
And now that It's summer Temps it's getting worse.

Here's what solved the issue for me.
Easy repair. Just basic tools and a couple of hours.

These use a sweeper arm, kind of like a fuel level sensor in a fuel tank, to tell if the door is open or closed.
Over time these arms can wear down a bit or get jostled hard enough to bend the arm, making good contact difficult.
The doors use: circuit not grounded = door open
    circuit grounded = door closed

    -Remove the door panel
    -Unplugged everything
-Unbolt door plate and let hang, no need to remove
    -Remove plate
-Undo the 3 screws for the latch assembly
-Undo actuator rods for handle and key
    -Pull unit out
-Remove screws and open unit up(It is not glued together)
-Remove the arm and bend brushes out slightly
    -Reassemble

    Hope this helps someone

I'm having the issue of alarm going on randomly with all doors being closed and i was planning to purchase a new door latch but was wondering if to try this first. Has anybody else tried this besides MinimumJargon?
