Battery light on, need help.

    Most shields on a car are to mitigate lawsuits from weird scenarios like parking in long grass or driving through deep water, lol. I bet the shield is there to keep large quantities of water soaking the alternator. It then needs to direct air for cooling because it will overheat from being covered...a design for a design.
