Nah it’s Graveyard Performance’s manifold w/ a 38mm Tial EWG flange. Heard some good & bad reviews for it but I’m gonna give it a shot and see how it does

Put in a lot of work this weekend and was able to get the engine in!

First I finished up some odds and ends with fuel fittings, coolant hardline delete, etc. then got to work on the clutch & trans:

Then today was able to get the wiring harness back on (I’ll get around to removing the EGR & VTCS plugs once things have settled)

Took me about 4 hours and a lot of cursing to get the engine bolted to the mounts but she’s finally in!

Obviously still gotta hook a lot of stuff up and route all the vacuum/boost hoses but definitely making progress!

Also forgot to put the serpentine belt on before dropping the engine back in, and surprise surprise when I go to put it on in the car the bolt on the tensioner strips . Any recommendations on replacements? OEM only or is the auto zone special acceptable?

Then what do y’all recommend for break in oil? I’m tracking conventional & high zinc but I just wanted to see if y’all have any specific brands/etc. that you guys like?

Life’s been crazy as well as work so documentation dropped off a bit but here’s a photo dump! 31214811-9055-4F0E-AC2E-E173986B4CEB.jpeg 3413C7A6-5BD9-4EEA-9C24-D7064F9A872B.jpeg 79C152EB-884B-4B56-87B4-9CA3F81F61F1.jpeg F17A8F31-B0B9-41EA-AEDE-52E6E9D90641.jpeg

    SHE’S ALIVE!!!!

Minor oil leak out of sandwich plate plug, next oil change gonna remove and replace with new thread sealant. Not too worried about it right now. Other than that she’s running great! Following Justin’s break-in plan then we’ll get going on logs!! She is ROWDY lol
