Hey guys new to the forum. I have a 2006 speed 6 that I’m having a readiness monitor issue with. The car has a short ram intake and turbo inlet pipe. I’m having a problem with the cat 02 and evap monitors not resetting and here in the great state of communist ny it will not pass inspection. I had AP on it but unmarried to stock which should of returned to the oem map. I have zero fault or pending codes and I’ve driven 100s of miles with no luck. I can’t get these things to reset Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!

Just confirming, but you are 100% sure your only mods are intake?
Did you buy the car recently?
How are you checking for codes?
Have you tried resetting the battery terminals to clear ECU data?

The only time I have seen an emissions monitor hang in the "not ready" state indefinitely is when I removed a code from being monitored through ATR.

Typically if your car fails a readiness monitor, it will throw a code related to what failed. You reset the monitors by clearing your codes.

I’ve had the car for a year it did have a code for a po126 (engine operating below a safe temp) aka thermostat in which I replaced 300 miles ago and took the terminals off the battery for a full reset. I’m 100% sure the intake and turbo inlet are the only mods stock down pipe turbo and egr are all there. I’m checking the monitors with a handheld scanner
