I decided to move this here from the discussion I started on the Corksport thread. This was originally about their Stage 2 RMM. So, after looking at the design of the various PMM's available I elected to get the Damond.

IT was installed this morning and much to my delight this mount has removed the NVH of the CS RMM alone! I'm pleasantly surprised by this. My awesome tech named Drew shoed me the old OEM mount and it was in OK shape with the rubber starting to crack. The new one required him to re-route the ground wire, which he mounted to one of the bolts of the mount. He said it took a little bit of time but he always wants to do things right for me.

If you are in the Phoenix area, I recommend him. He works at Cardinale Way in Mesa. Tell Nick that Padre sent you!

wait what? Usually the PMM increases NVH a ton...

I was surprised too. Now that all 3 mounts have been installed (CS Stage II RMM, Damond PMM, CS insert in the TMM) there is an overall increase in NVH, but it is not as bad as I was lead to believe on the various forums. I notice the NVH most during the initial warmup when I start the engine for the first time in a day.

The NVH is both present at different times but tends to be RPM related. My wife doesn't find the NVH objectionable, which says a lot to me.

There are times when the NVH bothers me, but I guess I have just gotten used to having so much less torque steer that I am happy with the compromise.

I did a lot of reading yesterday about the 9 different motor mounts offered by various companies. I was fairly set on getting a JBR RMM but I'm certain I'm getting a Damond RMM now. If funds weren't an issue, I get CP=E stage 2 for sure. Damond and CP-E seem to make the best mounts, with the Corksport stage 2 following right behind.

JBR mounts basically the worst for adding NVH, haha. DM are all around the best, but for RMM the CPE Stage 2 is good for minimal NVH (new CS Stage 2 is also getting good reviews so far).

I went from a CP-E stage 2 to a Damond and while the NVH is worse with the Damond, 1) It holds the engine in place 10x better and 2) My CP-E's bushing failed after only like 7k miles. If you flat foot shift, don't bother with the CP-E...If anything I would try the CS stage 2 before that one. I'm actually kinda curious about the CS myself. Just not sure the design will hold up.

I decided to go back to stock on the PMM as, with the new CS spring/strut/shock set up, the NVH is a little more than I want to deal with every day. As soon as I get it done there will be a slightly used Damond PMM for sale.

I've been thinking about dumping my CP-E S2 rear for a Damond. Already have the Damond PMM and TMM.

Oh yeah, that mount stays for sure. With the new CS package of springs, camber plates and struts/shocks, my MS3 is handling in a way I didn’t expect I could ever get. Oh, I also have your rear anti-sway bar installed. I bought this car from my son, and he drove it with all of my suspension mods, and your short air intake and he got this huge grin and said WOW! This is amazing!

Oh yeah, that and the CS Stage II RMM and CS insert in the TMM. I just want to try getting a little more vibration damping with the stock PMM. My excellent service tech tells me that this will give me a better balance as the PMM is where most of the vibration comes from. The CS Stage II RMM does an amazing job of holding the bottom of the engine stable.....much more stable. I am pleased.

I had the Damond PMM removed and the stock part replaced. Much better! The ride is not as rough, my rear view mirror is no longer vibrating and there is no effect on torque steer that I can notice. The first $100 takes the DM PMM with less than 3,000 miles on it.

I'll buy this. Can I shoot payment over to you as soon as I'm off work, around an hour from now?

Edit: just read the replies above mine. I'll buy it if Maisonvi doesn't, lol

Yeah just waiting to hear back from @PadreDave if he is still willing to part with it. Cant imagine my stock one will last too much longer on my set up.
