New product for Mazdaspeed6 people! The Damond Motorsports Mazdaspeed6 51R Battery Tray is here! Shed some weight with this smaller battery tray option, allow room for larger intakes, and add in some mounting points for various accessories!

Compared to various 51R battery tray options for the Mazdaspeed6, ours is made of Aluminum rather than steel. This makes for a lighter tray that isn't going to rust apart on your vehicle. We also have designed this tray with other modifications in mind, by adding in tons of mounting points for various accessories. Our simple mounting design allows the battery to be fully secured by using 1 x 10mm M6 bolt... as long as you can find that ever disappearing 10mm socket.

    Mounting point features:

3 x EBCS mounting points: front, side, back
2 x Split Second Controller mounting points: front, back
2 x Damond Oil Catch Can mounting points: front, back
Many additional mounting points: front, back

Please note, hardware is not supplied for the additional mounting points.

Our battery tray comes standard in a bare aluminum finish, but we do offer some powder coating options! Apart from a raw finish we offer our gloss black finish. However, if you're looking to add a splash of color, we now are offer custom color options!

The predrilled mounting points are a nice touch! I have relocated my battery to the trunk, but I'd almost be tempted to buy it just to use as a mounting rack.

Yeah, it would make a decent trunk mount as well. If you're running a breaker or fuse you could mount it onto the side of the tray to keep things clean.
