So, I need the brain trust to come together for me (the dad) for my son ms6 engine issues. So we reside in Michigan and its cold. I got a call last Friday that my 22 year old sons ms6 was blowing white smoke out of the exhaust and a sweet smell of antifreeze. So, first questions that I asked was is the radiator blown out or any hoses, he said no. My son is a experienced open wheel racer, and smart.

So, I called for the flat bed and they shipped 100 miles to our home. I pulled the plugs and they weren't wet. The hoses are all in tack. There was a film of antifreeze coming out of the crack case breather. The anti freeze overflow tank had green antifreeze in it. The oil is still purple, royal purple.

So, I am needing advise for answers, I called my local Mazda dealer and he tells me he has never seen a blown head gasket in his 12 years. I explain there are several guys selling there cars with just that problem, head gaskets. So, the next thing I need help with is finding a group of great mechanics in the Midwest.

Guys I need to get this car back on the road asap. So, I know what the first questions are going to be. The car has 103k, it has stage 3 Cobb with their new ms6 turbo, Cobb fuel pump, exhaust and data logger and we are being tuned by kaz in ca. Please help. Thanks, Bart

    1) no idea who this kaz guy is, but i recommend tuners familiar with our platform. Not sure what stage 3 is, but if that is the map running, you need mods to support that map c
    2) coolant on crankcase vent is never a good sign.

    Bumping for Motörhead member input.

I am by no means an expert. But most speed folks will do a compression test at any strange smoke or signs of engine trouble. Start there?
