Is it a PITA to replace the shift rod seal?

During troubleshooting of another problem today, I noticed an oil leak at my shift rod. Looks like it would be a fairly easy fix but I am not sure. Anyone done this? I don't see anything when I search for a thread or how-to...

When I say "easy" what I mean is, can it be done from up top, without removing or disassembling the trans? I don't mind if it takes a few hours but if it is a weekend job, that would suck. As a comparison, I did my timing chain and VVT about 6 months ago and that was a time consuming but not a PITA.
