I found that I was missing my MAF sensor O-Ring. I assume that my MAF cal is not perfect because of this fact and I wanted to replace it. Dealer price is stupid, and to order online anywhere was going to cost me $25 after shipping. Eff that noise.

Even after buying 3 sizes to get it correct (tried to find it in standard dash orings, but ended up going metric), Im still in it less than the $25 and I can now tell you guys what size you need.

The size needed is 28mm ID x 2mm Thickness (32mm OD).

Here is the McMaster-Carr link. But if anyone needs one, I have 24 spare now.

I think I paid maybe $8 for an OEM one off eBay. I gave up trying to find the proper size one lol.

Haha after the first one didn't fit, I resigned myself to finding the right one so people wouldn't have to go thought what I did.

And now 24 people can get one off me.

I'd take one; my oring setup at the moment is ghetto fab. I was only able to find one in local hardware stores that was the right diameter, but then the rubber itself was too thin.

Yeah you guys can both have one. I assume it will be able to be shipped with just a stamp in an envelope.

I haven't driven on this yet, so I want to do that first before I give any out though. Just to make sure it works right.

Even after 3 intake swaps, I did not know this was a thing. Now I have to go look, thanks.

Let us know how it goes. I just cleaned my MAF and wouldn't mind replacing that o-ring as well. Shit looked a little loosey goosey but no rips/damage yet. In other words, may I have one as well good sir?

Just so y'all know, Edge sells stock ones. Price wasn't bad either, IIRC.

It was like $10 from edge and $14 shipping for me. If thats just what I was ordering it was not worth it. If it was an add on for other stuff and I had free shipping I would have just used edge.

I get free shipping from McMaster through work luckily. So this only cost me $10 (minus the 2 other sizes I bought that were wrong, but I will chauk those up to R&D costs) and now we know the right one.

Yeah, I looked at Edge a couple of months back and fuck paying them $24 after shipping for a damn oring. Put it in an envelope and mail it for $0.40 or wherever the hell a stamp costs these days, ya grubbers.

When I got it from them, I didn't pay close to $24. It was an add-in item, IIRC. Or they just did the envelope thing, I don't remember which. If you call them up, they'll be happy to oblige. At least that's been my experience.

Yeah I could have probably done that, but part of me just wanted to know the size too incase it ever happened again. that and I hate calling people

Yeah, if you need one, let me know and I will ship it out. Mine seems to be fine, so I think its good to go.

I would definitely take one, durability of mine is looking...questionable, at this point.

Go to harbor freight and buy an O-ring kit, $10. The rings are thicker than the stock MAF ring but you choose a smaller one and stretch it over which makes it thinner. What I did and works great.

Been running one of Ken's spares for a few months, can confirm no issues and muuuch cheaper than getting ripped off by Edge.

More getting ripped of by Mazda than edge (I am sure cost for one of these is 20-30% less than what edge is selling them for. I would just get it from one of my Mazda dealerships (They sell to me for 10% over cost) but I know it's still going to be more expensive than using one of these in the long run.

Plus I can add the spares to my "Oh shit broken Mazdaspeed" collection for the other NATOR fags.

I have like 20 of these now. lost the bag, ordered more, found the old bag. So if anyone needs them, I have them for sure.
