    Any help y'all?

Gen 1 mazdaspeed 3 cranks with spark and from what I can tell fuel but it won't start.

    New battery.

    Spark plugs are new/clean/gapped.
Checked the HPFP ground, and when I pulled a coil pack I confirmed the spark plug was sparking.

Car sat for a year or two, could bad gas cause this? It looks like fuel is coming to the HPFP as when I pulled the gas line it was full of gas.

This is all following an engine swap, and it hasn't started since the swap.

Do you have an accessport or means of checking or logging engine data? This could help verify some sensor readout.
You have fuel to the HPFP, but can you tell if the fuel is making it to the cylinders? The HPFP has a spill valve to meter fuel into the pump, and a pressure relief valve to control high pressure fuel out. Either could be stuck. Perhaps a rebuild of the pump might be a good idea considering the fuel has sat. Worst case, the piston isnt moving and verifying the pump is 100% would be valuable at this point.
When you swapped the engine, did you use the all the kit form the old engine or are you using the new engines components or a mix?

    Here's the log man!

Only thing I didn't swap between the blocks was the crank shaft position sensor. Tried to mostly use the parts off of the 3 back onto the 3.

I also used the HPFP from the 3, because it has the upgraded internals.

Swapped cps, and coil harness. Still no dice.

Also swapped spill valves, still nothing. It definitely smells like fuel out of the exhaust, but the plugs WERE sparking??
