The Damond Motorsports Mazdaspeed3 51R Battery Tray and ECU Mount is here! Shed some weight with this smaller battery tray option, allow room for larger intakes, and add in some mounting points for various accessories and the ECU!

Compared to various 51R battery tray options for the Mazdaspeed3, ours is made of Aluminum rather than steel. This makes for a lighter tray that isn't going to rust apart on your vehicle. We also have designed this tray with other modifications in mind, by adding in tons of mounting points for various accessories as well as the ECU. Our simple mounting design allows the battery to be fully secured by using 1 x 10mm head M6 bolt... as long as you can find that ever disappearing 10mm socket.

    Mounting point features:

1 x ECU Mount on the side
2 x EBCS mounting points: front & back
2 x Split Second Controller mounting points: front & back
2 x Damond Oil Catch Can mounting points: front & back
Many additional mounting points: front & back

Please note, hardware is only supplied for the ECU mount and not the additional mounting points.

Our battery tray comes standard in a bare aluminum finish, but we do offer some powder coating options! Apart from a raw finish we offer a black finish. However, if you're looking to add a splash of color, we now are offer custom color options! Once purchased, we'll contact you to you to get the color you're looking for. There is a 2-3 week lead time on custom color options, and all sales are final. We do not accept returns on custom color options.

Battery and ECU not included. We show an example of the tray with a battery and ECU for reference. The ECU mounting plate is a separate plate that is riveted on, and it can be removed if desired, by drilling out the rivets. If you wish to order the tray without the ECU plate all together, please email us.

And before @Easter Bunny asks, this does add approx 69hp*

    * = your results may vary.

I would love to see pics of a catch can attached to this thing. Those are some tight spaces all around the battery tray....

This for sure! especial a Damond dual can setup. I might be inclined to do it.

We keep selling out of them, so I haven't really been able to snap a photo. Here's one from a customer with a SS controller mounted to the front.

Our OCC would basically use that same mounting point, if mounted to the tray.

Looks good. I've considered moving my cans to the battery box but would need to swap from CS to yours. Idk if I wanna do that yet.

The tray is aluminum, so just add some more holes and mount your CS can.

Will corrosion be a concern, with the uncoated option? I thought AL was usually anodized to help mitigate that.

If it was a concern, we wouldn't offer it raw.
