Mazdaspeeds Parts Database!!!

Started nearly 2 years ago, @Gizmo and @Adamizme have been teaming up to make this happen. So much geek work, I could not keep up. It is in the final stages, but I wanted to get input from you-MSO members.

Looking to add Mazda OEM parts that we use a lot, and will be an easy access for others. We need YOUR help!

Here is a Google Doc link for people to enter a description and number. Who can help fill this up?

 

Currently the sheet you linked is titled Vendors, and Cobb and Corksport is listed. There also are no other tabs. But thread title says Part dB so... confused. Is this supposed to be OEM parts only? Is it a more concise version of the https://mazdaspeeds.org/index.php?threads/proven-parts-list-common-parts-that-dont-suck.4476/ thread?

 

We need to do vendors first as it is the parent data.

Once we get most/all the vendors I have other sheets for parts that will use the first collected vendors

 

This is confusing me as well lol

 

Can we get some sort of schema diagram for this database?
I.e. Corksport is the parent and in their company specific table we have their products? Or am I off base here...

 

OK. Is this intended to be aftermarket performance improvement type parts only? Or will this include online OEM sources also like jim ellis etc? Are we listing community accepted parts or are we listings things that may be semi-sketchy? I'm thinking of stuff like:

Alright guys, I think you guys are all over complicating this.

I need to collect all the data about vendors first, that includes corksport and cobb but also nkg for example for spark plugs or sensors
the spreadsheet above is not the only spreadsheet and more will come. It's being rolled out like this for technical reasons, we are not collecting part information just yet. Also, you do not need to fill out all the fields in the spreadsheet the more the better but the first and the second column is the most important.

The ultimate goal here is to provide a graphical interface within forms here for the community to use and filter through all the parts. This side has been completed, and now we just need the data.
