Hey guys, so I’m having an issue in my 2010 tech pack, my car flooded not long ago and my amp was underwater. My radio wasn’t making any noise no matter what source I chose, I got a used amp and swapped it in and the radio worked for a whole 2 minutes before it was breaking up and then back to radio silence. I really don’t know where to start when it comes to audio and if someone could point me in the right direction to diagnose this that would be awesome

Check the electrical connections. Water can mess up so many things. I just saw this on tiktok where a BMW had water on the floor. It kept calling 911. They found a connector that was corroded badly.

I went through the whole harness after the flood, I used electrical cleaner and dielectric grease on everything and the harness was unplugged and drying for a week, when you say check the connectors do you mean for corrosion or with a multimeter? I don’t know which wires are for what

Yeah I would check the connectors. There is a short in there somewhere. Metal Member section has wiring diagrams too.

awesome I’ll get that memebership, I’m still trying to figure out a p0172 code, I fixed a whole bunch of vacuum leaks and it didn’t change anything. I’m thinking maybe leaking fuel injector but they were just serviced before I put them in
