So it's been about 2 months since the issue first appeared when I was in stop and go traffic on a hot day. When the traffic dispersed and i started getting up to 60 miles and hour the engine sounded like I had a flat tire. Right there i got a cylinder 2 misfire code. Until today I have started to work on the car to do a compression test. The results were the following:
    Cylinder 1: 164psi
    Cylinder 2: 159psi
    Cylinder 3: 160psi
    Cylinder 4: 165psi

The car already has about 115k on the stock motor. The mods on the car are fp internals, aftermarket downpipe, no cats, catback exhaust, 3" intake, fmic, water meth injection and tuned for e85. The cylinder 2 spark plug does not have any form of carbon from ignition rather it's got an oily residue around the spark plug tip. I have changed spark plugs and also purchased a used coil for the cylinder. No changes.

Leak down test? Might be time for injector seals.

Don't have a compressor to do the leakdown test, haven't done one before either.

I’d put my money on injector seal.

I'll check it out and see what the issue is. I have a spare injector in hand just in case as well.

But do you have a seal? It’s pretty easy to pull the injectors, unless they’re stuck which is possible. Then it’s a nightmare. I’d get the little injector tool that cpe makes before attempting to remove them.

I might be able to get my hands on one from a friend. Do I have to replace all of the seals or can one just be done?

I would definitely replace them all. The others are probably on the way out anyway. Upgrade to the CS seals.

For sure, I'll see when I can purchase the seals.
