I updated it with OEM and with another one that is supposed to be the OE one from Rock Auto, would be nice if someone could test it seems like a lot of subie guys use it.

    Serpentine belt gen2: 6pk2290
note the gates belt k060900 (6pk2288) listed on rock auto does NOT fit it is too short.

Gen1 and gen 2 have different belts because of the different lower steering pump

Confirmed Bando 6pk2290 works well and fits for gen2 ONLY needed because of power steering pump difference.

Also spin on oil filter Wix 51348 = napa gold spin on they're the same filter so get whatever is cheaper at the time.

If it is stock and you don't have the ability to adjust the tune for it, you will need an OEM one or the exact same model bosch makes.

So no one has any reviews on AM ignition coils? Would imagine some have tried them out by now. I dont even know if mine have any issues but price for four AM coils is same as one OEM.

If you want to try them out, go ahead. People have had issues in the past with blow out on cheaper coils but who knows. I don't personally know anyone who has tried them but I am sure someone has.

Current reccomendation is OEM coil packs only. All the aftermarket ones I've heard of just cause issues I don't keep track of what ones have been trialed or not at this point. Personally I wouldn't even try anything other than OEM for those.

Edit...sorry for long post. Part of confusion is I was using ms6 pn:
    L3G2-18-100B-9U which go for $90
    Just found Gen2 pn
    LF2L-18-100A which go for $70

Cheapest found for LF2L-18-100A was $256 shipped using 20SHIP promo for free shipping (or up to $20 off shipping (mine was only going to be $8):
    https://www.mazdapartsconnect.com/oem-parts/mazda-ignition-coil-lf2l18100a
    I ordered set.
Store is in MA but did not charge tax (I am in CT). If they end up charging tax then this place has for $271 shipped with tax
    https://www.getoemparts.com/oem-parts/mazda-ignition-coil-lf2l18100a
Thru MSM shipped they are $248
    /edit

I definitely recall where OEM was only reliable coil 10-15 years ago and probably even 5 years ago but I never needed coils so I do not recall what was available way back then.

Ya IDK if coils from A1 or carparts or any other no name AM like AZ/AA/napa are any good and do not really trust reviews on A1 and carpart.com, just seems suspicions to be rated so good. Some of these no name AM likely work and may last just dont wamt to dick around trying them. Being they are epoxy filled there is just now way to know how quality the components are and I have no way to test other than using them.

So that being said I do not think FoMoCo or Mazda makes these parts, figure some other company does. I dont have any new ones on hand but may look at one at dealership next time I am there. Looking at pictures online I did notice the one edge has pictured does not have any OEM markings on it. I found wit audi parts many times the major parts stores like FCP, ECS, Eropaparts, sell OE parts for less that just dont have audi stamp. Not saying edge is not selling oem parts...but idk would have to buy to see if stamped. Assume it is at $115....

Anyways I think I will try NGK coils. Idk if they are OE but not a no name. Will save a bit of cash over OEM and have 3 year 36k warranty. $257.24 shipped (plus tax) direct from NGK so ~$100 less than OEMs. I cannot find a single review for these on a forum. If they do not work then IDK if they just send me another set that does not work or if I can send back for refund. Maybe I should buy with Amex. Not sure if my Citi Costco card would cover me but they will double the warranty! LOL.

Denso would have been 2nd choice (for non oem)...as they are really good price at $50 each. Honestly wish I could just buy one of each just to compare if any look identical to OEMs...someday maybe.

    Edit
Now thinking there are two part numbers
    Ms6 (and cx7, gen1ms3 and others non disi 2.3s)
    L3G2-18-100B-9U
Looked this up on dealer site for my car and that is the one edge sells for $115

    Gen2
    LF2L-18-100A
Now see edge lists this for 2012+ for $80.
Will look up on dealer site but assume will find this PN. And obviously I can use these.
Idk says mazdaspeed3 and under what fits list mazda3 no engine so assume for speed and non speed.
    https://www.jimellismazdaparts.com/products/Mazda/Direct-Ignition-Coil/1897245/LF2L18100A.html

    Weird...
Maybe just revised pn as different supplier?

So at $70 will just get those. Will search for best price and post.

Looks like for the catted downpipe CNT is no longer an option. Corksport's is not cheap, but it's certainly well made, and sounds great if you like some hotrod noise, but not the full-on BRAPPPP of the catless.

I've had to replace the flex pipe section in my CPE catted DP. Had always looked for comparable cat to replace with no luck. I think CPE used to sell cat separate idk anymore...cant stand sound without cat.

Is it made well though? The amount of turbo fitment issues they have with their downpipes (typically the divorced one) I wouldn't reccomend it to anyone.

They did not sell the cat solo that I recall. CPE or Cobb are the way to go for catted DP these days with no CNT around unfortunately that's $$

Denso 1976040 Mass AIR Flow Sensor works and im 99% sure its OEM. For $70 its a steal and just fixed my car with one sold by West Side Parts:
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B007WMG8A0

Also OEM FW is DMF118. Might as well add to OP just for PN. Normally too pricy to consider but I just bought one for $390. Was going to go with Fidanza as was $280 a few months ago and normally was easy to get for $3xxish but now $4-500 everywhere.
And I'm not a huge fan of the dual mass given I can tell mine has failed. My clutch still works. But a new one will last long as I need it to and price was right.

Another part not listed is MAC 35A-AAA-DDBA-1BA to use as EBCS. Normally under $40 then need nipples and pigtail (or cut and use oem pigtail). I just picked up spare for $20:

So far so good on the denso 1976040 MAF sensor off rockauto on my built motor/ port injection/ BNR S6 speed 3.
Also running Denso coilpacks but don't want to speak too soon on those. I'll wait until the tune is finished on higher boost and give an update
