No idea, I just installed it how it came out of the box lol. In the short run time I've had with it, the insulation exterior was at ambient temp while the bare copper portion was cold.

Honestly, I hope to never do this again. We don't have a lot of free time during the weekdays, and it's sucked up a bunch of weekends. For sure we're saving a bunch doing it ourselves, but it's been really time consuming. If I had the disposable cash, I'd just custo order a trailer with all of the living space stuff.

Blowing up the 6 has left slightly more time for us while the new mill gets machined, though :)

Did she sit down in front of a sewing machine and sewed that whole thing by herself? Sweet Jesus that is fucking adorable. I am going to show this shit to my wife and then command her to mend the holes in my boxers which she refuses to do.

Go to Costco and get the five pack of Izod boxers for like 18 bucks they are hella durable, I personally have pairs that are 20 years old. Once they get holes they are shot the fabric is too thin for any repair to last.

Wait do your tires tick out that much further than the fender flares?

The rears poke a little bit past the flares, the fronts are probably 1-2" beyond.

    Electrical is DONE!

We tested the plumbing this weekend and found a couple leaks with the uniseal fittings. They are now in place with silicone, so we'll retry this week when we have some time. All of the PEX fittings are good. Still need to try out the water heater, but the water lines themselves are ok (we just tested the hot water pipes with a cold water source).

Once the plumbing is leak free, we'll hang the panel to finish the tank wall, and we can install the countertop/sink/range at that point.

I am very particular about my undies. Only Ex oficio Give-n-Go or Merino wool. The sweat my balls produce is something you have never seen. In your life. Besides I fucking hate Costco. Almost as bad as IKEA as far as check out lines. But IKEA is by far the fucking worse in the history of human kind. They have like 16 registers and always only open 2. Fucking people.

But anywho thats not the point. The point is that my fiduciary partner needs to fix my shit instead of whining about it god damn it. I mean I've fixed the piping on the septic tank to the house and the drain field and that is certainly worse than fucking sewing other peoples underwear. Shit I already let her machine wash my clothes instead of hand washing them as I prefer so that is the least she can do.

That's because going to dinner with a blow-up doll is generally frowned upon

Maiden voyage update. It's not 100%, but it's functioning.

The aft freshwater tank has a bloating problem (lol). I'm going to add another horizontal brace before we secure the wall. Otherwise, the plumbing inside the trailer is all good! The instant hot water heater works well after up-sizing the pump. The original wouldn't flow enough to blend cold/hot in the shower without the water heater kicking off. Larger pump fixed that. I'm welding up the second gray water tank this weekend, hopefully, then we'll finish the plumbing.

The mini split is AWESOME. It was 85° and sunny over all 3 days and the AC kept it around 72° during the day without issue, and we cranked it up at night to get down to ~66° :)

The dogs appreciated the new/cool trackside home. It's a real game changer to be able to stay on site, not drive to or spend money on a hotel, and wake up in the morning and fire up breakfast.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
