We just spent 8 nights in the hauler. 2 were in transit and 6 were on site. Everything performed really well. We have a few things to add for comfort, but it was soooooo nice to stay on site with ac AND be able to take hot showers. 2700 miles this trip!

We picked up a 120V mini fridge, so that was great to have. I'd like to mount it more permanently so I don't have to strap it down for transportation.

We need a fold down table of some sort. We took a small table, but it was very in the way for transport.

I'm going to hang etrack along the walls so we can strap stuff up. The bikes need a better way to be transported, as well.

More cabinets are going to be a winter project. Having totes for everything isn't terribly convenient.

The battery needs a permanent home. I'm planning to build an in floor box.[IMG][IMG]

Nah, but we did get a smaller car for it :)

[The 6 is still here, just getting rebuilt a little differently after the latest engine failure.][IMG]

Wasn't planning on it for the engine. The rules severely limit the engine build stuff, so it's pretty boring. There's some other stuff that I'm planning that will be far more interesting. With a backup car, I should have a lot more time to work on the 6 and actually document stuff.

The new car will likely get a "build thread" of some sort. I've wanted a project so I can play with additional telemetry, and I think that would be relevant to most everyone interested in turning. Which, in turn, should play into general suspension data-driven setup stuff :)

A couple updates. The first one I did a long time ago - in floor storage box. I wanted to practice some aluminum welding, so I did this all myself:

Next one is recent, and something we've sorely needed - cabinets. Pit Products is fairly local to me, so I ordered an 8'er from them:

I had an extra 12V line run around the top of the trailer, so I tee'd those into the cabinet to run lights in it, and probably under it.

Next up is a tire rack and folding work surface. I'll also make another post showing the folding table and benches we installed.

Folding table and benches...We needed some seats and a table that don't take long to set up, so Johanna found some locking hinges and hardware to make it happen. We lock the benches in the up position, and the table folds down and stays there. Super quick to go both ways, huge improvement.

    A couple more improvements.

Tire rack! This one took some modification to clear the car, but the fit is great. I had to shorten the horizontal section by ~5" to gain enough clearance.

Straps! I got some over the tire straps that work with the e-track and they are AWESOME. Removing the front bumper is no longer required. I need to lay some more etrack at the back of the trailer and I'll use the same straps back there.

Work surface! This is an Amazon test piece, and it seems pretty sturdy. Folds down and protrudes from the wall by ~2".

Do you have air conditioning in the trailer? Assuming you are still sleeping in it
