Yes, when I lowered the car and replaced the struts/shocks I found the vibration and noise more bothersome for my ride. Removing the DM PMM helped a lot, and since I am not doing autocross or any other kind of racing I am happier with this setup.

Remember, I’m an old guy with a blown out back from my early years as a Paramedic, so the compromise works for me. I tried it, didn’t like it....your mileage may vary.

I have both DM side mounts and a CPE Stage 2 RMM. I think it is about the best combo for this car. My wife didn't complain after 650 miles in mine going to ENM. Sure there is significantly more noise, but the vibes really aren't bad at all. If my A.C. is off, I barely notice anything.

Did you do both mounts at once? Just wondering what a diff will be when I add the DM TMM, just more engine noise?

I did both at once, so not sure of the impact of just adding the second.

For those that have the CS Stage II mount: I have all 3 Damond mounts on my daily driver. The vibe level is acceptable to me, but I wouldn't be upset if it were lower. The performance is fantastic but I think I might have just a touch of play in the RMM. Would it be worth my time to switch to the CS Stage II RMM? I'm going for either same performance with less NVH or better performance with same NVH.

I can't compare to the DM RMM, i upgraded to Stage2 from the original CS RMM...a bit more vibey but a noticeable decrease in engine movement.

More transmission noise. Very significant increase in nvh. It all depends on what you can handle.

The only reason I went with the CPE stg 2 rear mount was that it was the only option at the time that completely eliminated all the factory bushings, now the CS stg 2 does that as well. The bushing in the upper bracket was worn out on my car, so the CPE made the most sense.

I concur that the CS Stage 2 RMM increases vibration, very little noise increase noted....though I usually have my iPhone turned up pretty high with the combination of the earphone cable plugged into the Bose system, and a power cable through a plug-in USB adapter. Changing the PMM back to stock resulted in a dramatic decrease in NVH, with only a slight increase in torque steer, presumably from a bit more engine flex on acceleration. I don’t do WOT runs and shifts, so take that into consideration

Changed oil, spark plugs and rotated tires.

Who else sees that fine line of oil along the top of the thread....I'm hoping that's residual from when I did the compression test last time (dry /wet) on which would have been when those plugs were put in, my numbers were perfect and I'd only done the compression out of curiosity. 88k km on the car. Looking into the tops of the cyclinder with valve cover still on it appears dry. No oil oil leaks that I can find.[IMG]

My secret is that I don't do compression or leak down test.

Got in my car and started driving to work, passed 2 or 3 houses and then the tire pressure light came on. This like happens every 4-5 months or so. I love the Continental DWS06 tires, but I'm getting tired with all these low tire pressure events. Tires didn't look flat when I got out of the vehicle. Anyway I drove my wife's CX-5 to work.

gave the ol' girl an end-of-summer wash yesterday, and installed a "100% genuine" HKS SSQV. it is almost definitely fake, but was cheap and appears to be functioning properly. will have to decide if i prefer this one or my known-fake gfb, then probably offload the loser of Knockoff Wars to get a few dollars back.

Drove my car for the first time in weeks. Feels pretty good driving through downtown and watching people jump every time it afterfires.

I did the CS turbo back exhaust system. I really like it a lot. Very refined sound, looks amazing! My wife continues to tell me "please don't tell me you are done...." While I can think of a few more things that would be nice, especially a tune, this is good for now.

Yup. Get the Freaktune E85 and you’ll both be happy. My wife doesn’t like the load noises, but enjoys being in the car raping V8s.
