Added a little JBR protection today. Maybe I’ll quit roasting bugs and leaves on my TMIC.

Swapped air filter on intake for a clean one.

Also was checking my tires yesterday. The passenger side rear tire was like 5 psi below the rest of the tires. Also noticed that the S on my DWS tires are gone. I guess I'll be needing new tires at the end of this year.

Pulled my tmic ducting and my part throttle KR is totally gone now, hahaha. Unexpected but nice result.

Also helped a pal install KWv1 on his Pu on Saturday... seriously impressed with the ride quality.

Did he have issues with the rear being too low? Or not being able to raise the rear high enough? I thought I sort of read that some people have had this issue with KW coilovers.

nope, no issues; the stance is great. similar to how my juan sits on Swift springs. i think we finished with about a 1.5 finger gap after a test drive to settle it.

This weekend I fought with, wrestled, spit at, and cursed the OEM suspension while installing Corksport shock/strut and spring package.
Finally got it installed, getting those front knuckles off the OEM shock was painful.
Rear install was a piece of cake.

I always use a 2x4 and a bigger hammer. I may be doing another suspension upgrade soon myself.

Yeah, a 2x4 and a 3lb dead blow hammer were used. First time doing a suspension upgrade and going at it solo just made for a long day.

Penetrating fluid to lubricate, and the oem scissor jack between the hub and spring perch hasn't failed me yet. A few blows to the side of the hub with a large hammer also helps to shock (pun not intended) it free.

What are you thoughts on the CS shocks/struts?

Have put about 25 miles on them, was expecting a bit rougher than stock but the ride quality is equal with oem.
Haven't adjusted the dampeners yet, waiting for everything to fully settle then get an alignment. So far, I'm happy with the purchase.

When you get some more miles with them, can you let me know if you can set it to be softer than oem without losing handling performance?

Flashed back to the OTS Corksport Stage 1 map. The past few weeks I have been stuck in stop and go traffic, not much chance to go WOT and my mpg has dropped down to 20-22 mpg. I used to get pretty good mileage out of the CS OTS map, so I'm hoping it will work better with my commute nowadays.

One drive with the OTS map and I'm back to my Stratified tune. The smoothness and drivability with the Stratified tune is just on a different level.
