I've found a leak from the transmission sensors, but I'm unsure if it's one or both of the sensors leaking. I'm also curious how these leak and if tightening these up with some Teflon tape would suffice or if these need to be replaced outright.

These are the original sensors that came with the car, currently at 178K miles. IMG_6657.jpeg

Is it leaking and dripping out or just the weeping that is on the sensors?

Update to this, the top sensor is the back-up switch, and the bottom one is the neutral safety switch. I have replaced the back-up switch and haven't experienced this leak since.

    -Back-Up Light Switch (A610-17-640B)
    -Netural Safety Switch (A611-17-640D)

    This can be resolved.

No o-ring associated with this sensor?

Either it became loose or oil made it through the sensor body... Hard to tell.

It wasn't loose so I think it finally leaked through the sensor. New one has been great so far!

Im am going to take mine out, clean up the metal washer, add a dab of RTV and torque to spec to see if its the seal.
