I recently acquired a built MS6 with PI. The split second controller will not connect to the ECU. I have tried 2 different USB to Serial cables as well as verifying power and ground connections are good. The MAF is putting out .68 volts according to the AP. When I turn the key to on and plug into the SS controller and connect to the ECU it just counts down and says unable to connect to the ECU. I did not install the controller or the PI system on this car so I honestly have no idea where to start. If anyone has a similar setup and could post some pictures of all the connectors to the ECU or if anyone has any ideas of where to start I would greatly appreciate some help in the right direction.

Ha ha. The PO tried his best to help from many states away. Because he never finished tuning it after the engine build the SS had never been hooked up. After hours and hours of searching and troubleshooting I finally figured it out.

Whoever used the add a fuse only used 1 fuse in it AND they had it installed backwards. Terminal leg A on the add a fuse has to be on the +12v side. I added a 2nd fuse and turned it and it connected the first time. I spent hours tracing wires and plugs.

I know this thread is old but I am having a similar issue where it will not connect to the ssc. I will try to switch the fuses around in the add a fuse I am using. My life.....

    ******EDIT******
Tried this and it was not my issue I don't guess.
