speed6 not making all the boost

Hi guys, finally ran into a problem with my speed 6 it was tuned for 26psi of boost and now i hit around 11-12. i went through the basic troubleshooting.

boost leak tested intercooler pipe off of turbo capped the end off the throttle body. found a pretty good size leak i was excited! tightened up coupler no more intercooler pipe leaks. same results car will not build boost past 12psi. i checked the 3 port ebcs and it's working. i disconnected the waste gate valve and still builds the same boost. i hear an exhaust leak now from the center of the car but that should not prevent boost from building. i'm at a lost where to look now.

Seems like the wastegate flapper is not closing. Disassemble it and make sure it moves freely. Also fix all exhaust leaks. Post turbo won't matter for building boost though but can mess with your trims. Check the air filter condition and clean the MAF.

 

fixed it, CP-E catted downpipe, cat was plugged. gutted it and welded on new flex pipe. spools awesome again
