Installed the DM TMM to go with the DM PMM I installed a while back, big improvement over the JBR mounts they replaced. I still have and plan to keep the JBR88 RMM on the car.

How are the vibes at low rpms and cruising/highway speed?

Honestly, I noticed the least amount of NVH difference going from the JBR 88 dogbone to the DM RMM (compared to the other mounts). I wish I had some hard data, because all of this stuff is so subjective anyways. I'd feel confident saying it was at least a little less with the DM, but I had other upgraded mounts in place at the time too, so I can't really do an apples-apples comparison. I'm very happy with the DM RMM, though, particularly how the bushings see forces evenly across their whole length because of their orientation compared to the JBR design, which torques/twists on the vertically mounted bushing that bolts into the subframe. Putting the bushings on the transmission side (DM) seems prudent, especially for bushing longevity.

The dog bone design has worked well for years. I'm happy with where the car is now regarding noise and vibes. I have a built motor BSD car and with the mounts I have now, it's not bad.

The DM side mounts are great, holds the engine well with minimum vibes and noise.

Used a little 3M headlight restore on my car after fixing my mom's totally destroyed lights in her old Buick. I bought the five step kit and it worked wonders on 2002, piss yellow, LeSabre headlights. I used the last two steps to remove a little haze from mine.

Received the Ford synthetic transmission today too. I've got a lot of things to do.

Always go darker. Always. I have 5% in the back windows and the rear window. Need to get my front ones done now. Not 5% though. Can't see shit at night. Probably just legal or one step below for the fronts.

I was slightly disappointed when I replaced my gear oil. The forums made it sound like it was night and day. I guess I'm not too sure what the previous owner had in there, but mine really didn't feel any different. Still had 2nd gear crunch in cold weather. Makes me cringe. I'll have to see what your experience is with it.

I'm in Cali and I'm still rolling with a GA plate which means no front plate so I don't wanna have super dark tint to further single me out.
I just don't like the look of the tint not being the same Color all around.

I never tinted my car. I'm fully convinced this is why I hardly ever get pulled over, and all my tinted buddies have lots of tickets. I would agree with not making yourself standout any more.

I recently changed to the Motorcraft fluid and it did seem to make shifting a bit smoother; not a tremendous LIKE OMG HUGE difference, but enough that I was pleased with having done it.

I make it a point to give the MAF a squirt of electronic cleaner at every oil change. Even with a dry filter dirt will stick to it.

Made it into Milwaukee SCCA's gallery from the event! Of all the great cars that were there, I'm one of the three that they posted. :p

Holy fuckbuckets. Installed my CS racepipe last night...that shit turned into a four hour ordeal after one of the rusted-as-fuck OEM bolts snapped off in the downpipe flange. FML. Drilled it out and macguyvered together a replacement bolt/washer configuration. Doesn't seem to be leaking at the moment and hoping against hope that it stays that way. Also found that things didn't quite fit together with CS's included spacer (for stock size RP/DP) in place; hoping as well that leaving it out doesn't cause any issues...

Replaced my driver's side fender liner. The front triangular section was gone, and I think water splashing up there was part of the reason that both my first WMI pump failed and a fog light ballast mounted down there also failed:

Nice, new, and shiny! Almost looks out of place, LOL:
    upload_2016-7-22_15-51-52.png

Picked it up on Prime. Not a bad price for the part:
    upload_2016-7-22_15-54-7.png

While I was in there (a motto of every car modder, haha) I noticed that my newly installed AEM WMI filter had a small leak on one side. I tightened up the fitting and everything looks to be perfect. I always try to get eyes on things I've worked on relatively soon afterwards. And then again after a few months. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure...

Do eet. It's not too hard. The key is to get everything tucked into place in the right orientation (some parts of the plastic go under body panels, some go over them - I took some iPhone pics for reference, and you can always look at the other side). Also, there are a couple of 10mm bolts near the strut that work great as a first place to get things bolted in, then work outward from there. Keep the screws loose (like under the bumper) until you do the final tightening in the end. And place all of the plastic push-tabs in place first before starting to push the nylon screws into them. The vast majority of the hardware used on these are those nylon collars that have nylon screws which go into them. There's maybe 15-20 of them for each fender liner.

Finished swapping my clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and had the flywheel resurfaced after my old TOB seized and grenaded taking out everything I had to swap. Fucked the shaft up the TOB rides on so I had to swap trans housings with my old one we had laying around NatorVA HQ. Clutch has felt weird for a long time and now it finally feels normal. received_10208752137454782.jpeg received_10208752264337954.jpeg received_10208752264577960.jpeg 20160718_214137.jpg 20160718_214129.jpg 20160718_214123.jpg 20160720_180446.jpg
