Noob here that needs advice. I just bought a 2010 Mazdaspeed3 about a month ago with 130k miles that is stock with the exception of a Cobb Intake. I know the first thing I should purchase is high pressure fuel pump internals. My question is should I also purchase the high pressure fuel pump new and install the internals in the new pump since it is a high mileage car or should I just install the internals into the existing high pressure fuel pump on the car. Any and all suggestions are welcomed.

The housing should be fine, just make sure it isn't gunked up.

And check for the upgraded internals before you buy new ones.

Do you have existing AP or VersaTune data on fuel system, pressure, requested psi, injector time, etc. If running now ok. A baseline of data points will be a huge help to troubleshoot if worse case scenario after wrenching

Corksport is what I'm running. Quality part.

@csierra I've stuck with Autotech internals for the two speeds I owned. It never failed me.

That being said I have internals for sale but you need to be a VIP to see the classified section.
